| Dare to be different, seems to be Renault's motto and bravo for them. As a rule, a car needs to offer comfort, performance, responsive handling, space for humans and cargo alike, strong build quality, controls that are easy to read and reach, reliability, value for money, safety and security. All these boxes have been ticked with the latest Megane and crash tests have awarded the full 5 stars. The diesel engines afford the best performance, particularly the two mentioned below and the drive is spirited and fun. An agile hatchback and a fine choice amongst the competition but SEAT's Leon is a well worth a peek too. |
